Requirements

AEQ members have a legal entity and production site in Europe at which they have produced metal hoses, bellows or expansion joints for at least three years consistently. They comply with the requirements of the AEQ Certificate which are e.g.:
 

• certified Quality Management System, e.g. ISO 9001
• design and calculation in accordance with relevant European regulations, directives and standards or customer requirements
• selection of qualified suppliers
• validated manufacturing methods, including reliable own forming equipment and assessed welding procedures and qualified welders
• suitable testing procedures and equipment to check compliance with the relevant technical standards
• appropriate product liability insurance

Fees

The annual membership fees depend on the member´s turnover with metal hoses, bellows and expansion joints in all sectors except for the automotive sector:

• 0,06% of the turnover up to 20 million EUR
• 0,03% of the turnover of more than 20 million EUR
• 3.750 EUR minimum fee
• 36.000 EUR maximum fee
